Revenue Manager 

Job Overview:
Managing and implementing the hotel's pricing, yield, market strategy, distribution & selling strategies, and revenue management best practices.  Analyze revenue potential generated by group market segments and   transient segmentation as well as other revenue considerations (i.e. catering and event space, etc.). Manage hotel revenue generation & maximization. Responsible for managing the hotel’s RevPAR Index and RevPAR goals.


Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Administration/Business Administration preferred
•    Three to five years of prior hotel revenue management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
•    Revenue Management or Pricing experience required
•    Understanding of general hotel operations and the philosophy of yield management required
•    Strong computer skills are required
•    Must speak fluent English

Senior Sales Manager

 

Job Overview:

Responsible for effectively soliciting and becoming familiar with all accounts in assigned market segments. You will represent the Blossom Hotel Houston Medical Center  in the development of market segment(s) and new customer relationships while maintaining existing relationships with assigned accounts .Consistently strive to maximize revenue in rooms, food and beverage, public space, and additional services. You will also be responsible for prospecting and closing on assigned accounts/territory to positively impact Blossom’s revenues.

Qualifications:

  • At least 4 years of progressive hotel sales experience; or a 4-year college degree and at least 2 year of related experience; or a 2year college degree and 3 or more years of related experience

  • Must have a valid driver’s license 

  • Must speak fluent English

  • Other languages preferred

FRONT OFFICE MANAGER

Job Overview:

Manage all Front Office Operations to ensure quality standards (front desk, business center, PBX services, concierge services, guest services and valet), profitability and to ensure total guest satisfaction. You will oversee the front office systems, scheduling, forecasting and department budget to maximize revenue. Provide leadership and guidance to Front Office staff ensuring consistent quality service is provided.

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or equivalent required. College experience preferred

  • Three years combined prior front desk and supervisory experience required

  • Must speak fluent English

  • Other languages preferred

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule

Director of Engineering 

Job Overview:

Direct the engineering and maintenance operations of the hotel to ensure the safety of the team members and hotel guests. Direct the department’s accounting/budgeting, asset protection and inventory control. Ensure compliance with federal, state, brand and or local regulatory and inspection requirements.  Direct, coordinate and perform routine preventive maintenance and security inspections. Will also manage the security and loss Prevention functions of the hotel. Manage all aspects of the maintenance and security staff daily. Train and motive staff with the skills and techniques necessary to keep the hotel in working condition.

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or equivalent required. Some college or advanced vocational training preferred.

  • Three years’ experience in general building maintenance and/or construction or equivalent combination of education and experience plus 2 yr. supervisory experience.

  • Specialized expertise in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and carpentry fields preferred.

  • Hotel experience preferred.

  • Must speak fluent English.

  • Other languages preferred.

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule to work nights, weekends and/or holidays.
